His romance novels are old. Life wasn’t always how it is now. Romantics and guys who wore tights were attractive at one time. I suggest you try reading his novels. Maybe you wouldn’t think that he’s so “gay” after all.

I think he was a genius and it is impossible to tell if he was homosexual or not. But it doesn’t matter because he wrote some of the best works of all time. It doesn’t matter if he is gay or not I’d like to see you write something as amazing as Hamlet or Once Upon a Midsummer Night’s Dream. Hell, I could go on and on. So stop being so critical mister “only gay people can write love stories”!

Wow, your obviously not well educated on how it was a different TIME PERIOD back then, therefore men wore different things. He was married to a women, but people thought he was bisexual or gay because of his writing. He would say romantic things about men in his writing, but from a women’s point of view. Still, people thought he couldn’t have thought that unless he really felt those feelings. I say there’s no way to know.

So what about his clothes and beard and tights. Everyone dressed like that.
And if he was gay, I am sure he would not have got married and had children.
He was not emotionally stunted and was able to talk about his feelings. Also, he was not a bigot unlike some ignorant people I could name.
Oh, and there is no proof he was gay either. Just speculation by gay scholars who want him to be gay.
